As a G7 Master Printer, Cummings utilizes modern technology, proofing and press controls, and standards to ensure a match from proof to print. Our proofing process takes into account the paper grade and brightness of the sheet so our clients can get an accurate representation of their pages in relation to the final product.
A closed loop color management system is installed on all our presses, providing consistent, predictable color throughout the press run. In addition, all our presses are equipped with press side, monitor-based proofing stations for those clients that utilize soft proofing. These monitors use the Kodak Match Print Virtual software to render contract quality color.
Cummings can also offer the Kodak Staccato screening technology to enhanced the over all reproduction of high-end photography and eliminate moiré patterns for catalogs with small product shoots.
