Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM)
You have probably seen this advertised in various media outlets. This service allows you to do a localized, saturated, carrier-route mailing without the use of a mailing list. Click here for more information.
Supplements may now be 100% advertising as long as when combined with the host publication they remain under 75% advertising.
10% of the required 51% requester/subscriber will now be able to be "Electronic Requests".
There will be less USPS class specific handling plants moving forward. All remaining plants will process all classes of mail. 200 plants have closed since 2006 with another 223 this year. With that in mind, the service standards for all classes of mail will be changing. Expect additional time needed for all mail.
